Hey guys!
I can’t believe it: it feels like I just started going to KKC and today’s already my last day of school before I go back to Germany.
It is sooo sad and I really don’t want to leave (though of course I’m looking forward to see my friends and family again)!
I’ve had an awesome time here, I met so many nice and great people and I even learnt a bit in school.
I enjoyed going to KKC, I had some subjects I can’t attend in Germany and it was an interesting experience to wear a school uniform.
But now it’s time to say Goodbye… and I don’t wanna leave!! (Okay, I think I mentioned that before, but I really don’t wanna leave!)
Well… whatever…
Thank u guys for making my time a great experience!!
Cheers,
Lea

Last Saturday our host mother asked us if we wanted to go shopping in Tauranga.
Of course our answer was”Yes!!!!!!!!!!”
I had so many things that I needed to buy such as a hairdryer,a calculator, notebooks……etc.
First we went to pet shop with our host family.
The pets were so cute that everyone wanted to take them home:)
And the most exciting thing was that I saw the baby dog which was the same kind as my pet dog in Taiwan.
Oh~I missed my pet dog so much:(
After saying goodbye to our hostfamily, we went to The Warehouse.
I bought a 2009 calender which had dogs pictures on it,apple juice,notebooks,many snacks…etc,but I couldn’t find a calculator there.
Then we went to many clothes shops and Mao bought three cute clothes which cost $120.
I didn’t buy any clothes because my mum sold clothes and I knew it’s really cheap to buy clothes from the company.
1:00——————
We were all tired and starving,so we decided to go to the Japanese restaurant to have shu-shi for lunch:)
After walking for a long time—————
We arrived at the Japanese restaurant, but it was closed.
Oh my god!!!!!!!What’s wrong??????:(
Our legs were very sore and we couldn’t walk anymore,so we found a restaurant nearby and had chicken noodles and chocolate cake for lunch.
It was a really lovely and fantastic afternoon.
After lunch————
We went to two dollar shops and other stores.
We both bought many necklaces in a cute shop.
I really enjoyed the time with Mao in Tauranga:)

Although we were’nt in the year 13 Geography class, we were allowed to join the Trip to Rotorua as we all are very keen to see as much of New Zealand as possible.
We went to a Sheepshow where we saw lots of outstanding looking sheeps, to a Museum where they told us about economic and history of Rotorua (which was hard to follow, cause we were trying eagerly to not give into sleeping), but than we came to the most exciting part of the day: we went to a park where we could see the Geysers which was really amazing! Another cool activity of the day were the gondolas: we went up the hill with them and had a ride on the luge!
So all in all we had a great trip!

It is spring here in New Zealand. It has been a very long wet winter for everyone, but I especially feel for our International students who arrived in the middle of winter. They have recovered from colds and flu and all seem pretty happy and healthy at the moment.
Lets hope that this beautiful fine warm weather continues so we can all get out and enjoy the great outdoor life that New Zealand has to offer.

We are writing the year 2008 , the 18th of September - Fede’s 18th birthday!
Just for explanation : it was a surprise party!!!
To the story now
In the morning we met at school a really sad and depressed girl . Nobody had congratulated her and it was like the world had forgotten Federica Massari….
But thats the way to get a good surprise party,or is it??
At least when Fede arrived at her host mum’s house the surprise was perfect and we had a nice party with all her friends!

Last week,I had to be in year 10 because Mao still had exams.
I was lucky that Beth was my year 10 buddy and I really enjoyed the time when I was with her.
She and her friends were all nice and friendly.
I regret that I didn’t talk much with her because of my poor English.
Sometimes I couldn’t understand what she and her friends were talking about,so I think I really have to study English and improve my English speaking, writing and reading!!
To realize my goal,my hostmother took me to Katikati Library and borrowed a lot of books on last Sunday.
I was so happy that I had a pink library card. It’s fantastic
——————————————————————————————–
From this Wednesday,I begin to follow Mao in year11.
I was so excited
I won’t waste the time when I am in New Zealand.

While everyone was working very hard, coming to school every day to rack through the frightning Practise-Exams, some other Exchangies and I were lucky and had a week of holidays. We went Kayaking, Shopping in Tauranga and “Shopping” in Katikati, made a Picknick, enjoyed the good weather, went for a Bushwalk and tried golfing (which is -by the way- kind of frustrating). We really enjoyed our free time!

Today Miss Morris showed me a really cool video camera ‘Flip’ It’s absolutely perfect because it’s easy to put the videos which we take into the computer. Also it’s seriously compact and handy so we can bring it anywhere we want. When I saw this video camera for the first time, I thought it was just a camera because it didn’t look like a video camera!! Fortunately, we don’t need a memory card because it has a USB memory stick!! It’s AWESOME!!!!!
Today, we put a one of videos on this web-site which was taken in international languages week at Katikati college!!!! Please enjoy watching it!!!!
Love you
